Product Overview
Yinuo New Material Technology (Heze) Co., Ltd. offers a high-performance release agent specifically formulated for polyurethane (PU) rigid and semi-rigid foam applications.- Engineered with advanced polymer composite technology, our release agent delivers superior demolding performance, excellent thermal stability, and a smooth, flawless surface finish for molded PU products.
Designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern PU foam production, our release agent effectively prevents adhesion between the foam and the mold surface, ensures clean and easy part ejection, and significantly extends mold service life.
Key Features & Benefits
Superior Demolding Performance
Our advanced formulation provides exceptional release properties, enabling clean and effortless part ejection from both metal and resin molds. It effectively prevents sticking and tearing of the foam, minimizing defects such as surface roughness, cracks, and dimensional inaccuracies.
Excellent Surface Finish
PU parts produced with our release agent feature smooth, flat, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces – free from blemishes, discoloration, or stains. The superior finish quality enhances the appearance of finished products and facilitates subsequent surface treatment processes.
High-Temperature Stability
Engineered to withstand a wide range of molding temperatures, our release agent maintains excellent performance under thermal stress. It is effective at working temperatures from 30°C to 180°C (and up to 250°C for water-based formulations), ensuring consistent results throughout prolonged production cycles.
Minimal Mold Residue & Easy Cleaning
Our release agent leaves minimal to no residue on the mold surface, effectively reducing carbon accumulation and build-up. This keeps the mold clean throughout the production process, reduces mold maintenance frequency, and extends tool life. Both the mold and finished products are easy to clean.
Post-Processing Compatibility
Our release agent does not interfere with downstream finishing operations. Molded parts are fully compatible with painting, adhesion, coating, and other post-processing treatments, ensuring seamless integration into your existing production workflow.
Environmentally Friendly & Operator Safe
Available in both solvent-based and water-based formulations. Our water-based version is solvent-free, non-flammable, low-odor, and non-toxic, containing no hazardous substances and generating minimal smoke or harmful fumes during application.- It complies with international environmental standards, creating a safer, cleaner, and healthier working environment for your operators.
Cost-Effective & High Dilution Ratio
As a concentrated formulation, our release agent offers excellent dilution ratios – up to 1:30-40 (solvent-based) or 1:10-15 (water-based) – significantly reducing consumption costs while maintaining superior performance. Its high efficiency allows for multiple releases from a single application, further lowering overall production expenses.
Versatile Application
Our release agent is effective for all types of polyurethane foams, including rigid, semi-rigid, and flexible foams, as well as integral skin and elastomeric applications. It is compatible with various molding processes, including RIM, RRIM, and SRIM.
Applications
Our PU rigid and semi-rigid foam release agent is widely used in the production of various products across multiple industries, including:
-
Synthetic wood products – furniture, decorative ornaments, picture frames, Roman columns, flower pots
-
Automotive components – interior parts, anti-collision parts, headliners, seating
-
Construction and insulation – cold storage panels, thermal pipelines, architectural decoration materials, insulation panels
-
Furniture and seating – chair arms, mattresses, pillows
-
Sporting goods – helmets, safety support pads
-
Mannequins and display models
-
PU rigid foam panels and sheets
It is suitable for both rigid polyurethane foam molding and semi-rigid foam production lines, and compatible with a wide range of mold materials, including metal and resin molds.
Usage Instructions
For Solvent-Based Formulations:
-
Dilute the concentrated release agent with petroleum ether, 120# solvent oil, n-hexane, or naphtha at a ratio of 1:30-40 (by weight)
-
Apply uniformly to the mold surface using spray or brush methods
-
For new or cleaned molds, apply 2-3 light coats to establish a uniform film
-
Allow the solvent to evaporate and the film to dry completely before molding
-
Apply a fresh thin film after each demolding cycle
For Water-Based Formulations:
-
Dilute the concentrated release agent with clean water at a ratio of 1:10-15 (by weight)
-
Apply uniformly to the mold surface using spray or brush methods
-
For new or cleaned molds, apply 2-3 layers
-
Use heating system to heat the mold to above 50°C to ensure complete drying
-
Apply a fresh layer after each demolding cycle
General Guidelines:
-
Clean the mold thoroughly before initial application to remove old residue and contaminants
-
Store in a tightly sealed container at temperatures between 10°C and 50°C
-
Shelf life: 12 months under original sealed container
